USAID Supported Family Focused HIV Prevention. Care and Treatment at Addis Ababa program review meeting takes place at MENA Prime
Mekdim Ethiopia National Association (MENA) conducted third year second quarter performance review meeting for USAID Family-Focused HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Services in Addis Ababa City Program (USAID FFHPC&T) at Bishoftu GoldMark Int Hotel from April 28-29,2023.
The meeting aimed to discuss program results, lessons and challenges of the program with the presence of all government stakeholders, technical partners, Local implementing partner, PLHIV network and invited guests.
During the 2 days meeting, program results review, good practices and lessons exchange, new initiative updates, program guidance’s, discussions and reflections were carried out to benchmark good practices and challenges encountered to strategized way forward in the program implementation period by focusing on showing program intervention results while striving for program sustainability and impact.
All government and technical partners participated and shared their insights for accelerated impact as part of the program intervention.
USAID FFHPC&T goal is to strengthen local HIV epidemic control to achieve 95 percent of individuals living with HIV know their status, 95 percent of persons living with HIV to initiate antiretroviral therapy and 95 percent of antiretroviral therapy clients achieve viral load suppression by 2025.
